Marcus Kleveland is a rad kid.. Super talented on a board yet sensitive & attentive to the people around him. Best of all, his parents are ANYTHING but "soccer moms or soccer dads". Marcus is your typical pre-teenageer kid.. Full of energy, loves to crack jokes and play funny pranks on his friends and eats too much junk..If it was up to him, he'd eat chocolatines for brekkie, lunch and dinner.. Then again, he's also smart, reflected and he knows exactly what he wants- To snowboard professionally.. How do you talk to a 14-year old kid that does 10's for warmup and lands 14's 1st try? Easy.. You give himshit.. I constantly harass him for his fashion choices, hair this or that and last but not least-music preference (Markus likes electro/dance music... aaaaargh)And you know what? He gets it.. He understands that constant harassing is the only acceptable form of male bonding. And he's starting to bite back too... It's brilliant. It's been an amazing ride with Marcus so far. Cheers to the future.

What was your first snowboard? It was like a 75cm board with a wasp on it,I did not find any name on it and I still got it!

What was your first snowboard movie that got you hooked? I think it was "Walk the Plank"some years ago.

Scariest moment of the season? Almost fell of the jump at Freestyle CH qualification!

Best trip? Sun Valley, Idaho. Performance camp with lots of awesome people

One item you always have in your snowboard pants: My iPhone ;)

Besides snowboarding? Skate, Motocross, Trampoline, BMX.

Future plans? Ride more! Do some crazy BC pow riding!

Marcus Kleveland upside down down under!
The Kleveland show just came back from 5 weeks spent flipping and spinning all over Perisher, NZ and other Oz mountains.. Here a nice edit of what he’s being doing. Marcus is always in full control of all things snowboarding. However, from the sounds of it, someone picked the soundtrack for him this time around. How else would you explain the absence of the usual “Justin Bieber on speed” sound? Go Marcus! Marcus is wearing the Kabigtime Fleece in WHT, the Stretch Gore pant in TEK and the Travelin’ Hood Thingy in BLK

Volcom Snow's The Launch - Watch Now!
Last month our Volcom Snow ams, better known as the Stone Army crew, loaded up the RV and charged up to Bear Mountain for Snowboarder Magazine’s ninth annual The Launch 2016 presented by Volcom. The Launch is an assembly of age 21 and under riders handpicked by the Snowboarder Magazine crew for a 4 day media shred frenzy, and this year it was brought back to the San Bernadino mountains and constructed by the Bear Mountain crew full of endless rails, transition and kicker possibilities. Despite some windy, blizzard, and sometimes great conditions the boys were on fire with non-stop bell-to-bell action! When it was all said and done, Brock Crouch was awarded Standout and 10 yr old Aussie Valentino Guseli took home the Super Grom award for charging almost every feature in the park!
